Healthy Teeth and Gums

Dental hygiene is an important habit to establish with our children. It is not only important for their teeth and gums, but it may one day save their life.  In the medical and dental field, it is common knowledge that heart attacks are often caused by infection in the heart muscles that enters through diseased gums. Diseased gums open the door to infection in bloodsteam. If your body is already at a weakened state or has inflammation, infection can run rampant through the body.

Here are some tips that will help keep your teeth and gums healthy:

1. Eliminate food and drinks loaded with sugar and carbs. Eliminate sugar from your foods is not only for good dental health, but for overall health. It’s not just the food that is bad for your teeth, but sugary drinks, as well. Read our post about the importance of eliminating sports drinks. Water is much better for you.

2. Brush your teeth a minimum of 2 times a day with a natural toothpaste. Look for a toothpaste without preservatives, fluoride, artificial flavors, and sodium laurel sulfate. You can also put a drop of Ancient Robbers Essential Oil on your toothbrush before brushing. Ancient Robbers is known for its cleansing abilities and designed to boost immunity and support the body’s natural defenses when combating infection. We love Thieves Dentarome toothpaste.

3. Rub organic coconut oil directly on your gums or try oil-pulling. Rubbing coconut oil on your gums will populate the gums with beneficial bacteria that keep harmful bacteria in check.

4.Add SerraEnzyme to your daily supplements. SerrayEnzyme will help reduce inflammation that can leave your body and heart vulnerable to infection.

5. Add Oral Defense to your daily dental care.
