I’ve been working on my Thanksgiving menu and I’m looking forward to trying a few new dishes. Just because it’s the holidays doesn’t mean you can’t eat “real” food. It is possible to eat healthy during the holidays without your family worried that you will serve them food that tasts like cardboard.
I’ve put together a list of recipes that I am serving this year.
GRAIN-FREE THANKSGIVING STUFFING – Danielle is one of my all-time favorite cooks. I can’t wait to try this recipe. Her recipes never disappoint me. Recipe found here.
ROSEMARY ROASTED SWEET POTATOES AND ONIONS –This recipe looks amazing. What’s Thanksgiving without Sweet Potatoes? Recipe can be found here.
COCONUT CURRY DEVILED EGGS– Recipe can be found here.
PAN-SEARED BRUSSELS SPROUTS WITH CRANBERRIES & PECANS- Not only is the dish beautiful to look at, I love the addition of cranberries and pecans. It will be a perfect side dish for Thanksgiving. Recipe can be found here.
GARLIC CAULIFLOWER “MASHED POTATOES” – Non Nom Paleo another blog that I love. I’ve had these “mashed potatoes” many times. My kids actually prefer these over regular mashed potatoes. Recipe can be found here.
RAW KALE SALAD WITH WARM BACON VINAIGRETTE – Kale salad is one of my favorites. Recipe can be found here.
CRANBERRY SAUCE- I never ate cranberry sauce as a kid because I couldn’t stand the look of a jellied log out of a can. It’s amazing when you eat real ingredients how much better things taste!! 🙂 This recipe is perfect. It can be found here.
ROASTED BUTTERNUT SQUASH SOUP- This is still a favorite. Recipe can be found here.
PUMPKIN PIE (GLUTEN AND SUGAR FREE)- This pie is simply amazing! You can not celebrate Thanksgiving without pumpkin pie! Recipe found here.
Do you have a favorite side dish that you love for Thanksgiving? We’d love to hear from you.
