How to Cook a Spaghetti Squash
Spaghetti squash is a versatile vegetable that can be substituted for pasta. I’ve run into a few people that are intimidated by spaghetti squash. You do not need to be! Cooking a spaghetti squash is so simple and it is so delicious! There are so many different ways to cook one, but I will show you my favorite.
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Take the spaghetti squash and cut it in half. Scoop out the seeds.
2. Brush a small amount of butter all over squash (optional) and season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Place on a baking sheet and bake uncovered for 45 minutes or until soft.
4. Take a fork and begin to loosen the “spaghetti” stands and pour into a bowl, until the squash is scraped clean.
5. Serve with your favorite sauce or plain. (Our Spaghetti Meat Sauce Recipe is fantastic on spaghetti squash.)
