Part 3-Unveiling the Dental-Body Connection with Thermography
We have been on a captivating journey through the realm of thermography and its incredible impact on our health. In this installment, we're about to dig into the fascinating world of the mouth-body connection, revealing how thermography offers a unique lens into our dental health.
Discovering the Mouth's Clues: Thermography's Remarkable Insight
Elena Bach, our whole body thermography specialist at K6 Wellness Center, and I have often teased about needing a resident dentist, considering the abundance of dental-related information we uncover through thermography scans. It's truly remarkable how thermography has a knack for detecting subtle health indicators.
Cavities, root canals, bad breath – these are not just mild concerns. They're often indicators of underlying issues, and we've found that the mouth can be a gateway to understanding the broader state of our health.
Our role with dental health and thermography is to raise awareness about potential health issues and then connect individuals with qualified specialists, like a biological dentist, who can rectify any previous dental work that might be impacting their health. We recognize that dental health isn't always given the attention it deserves, and sometimes, people just need a bit of intervention.
The Astonishing Link Between Teeth and Health: Root Canals and Beyond
The connection between our teeth and the rest of our body goes beyond surface-level observations. An eye-opening statistic from Germany, states that an astonishing 95% of women with breast cancer are shown to have a root canal on a tooth connected to the affected breast. Yes, you heard that right – a direct link between our dental health and our overall well-being.
Drawing parallels between the ancient practice of acupuncture and modern science, think of our body's meridians as circuits for energy flow, much like electrical currents. These pathways traverse through our teeth, connecting various organs. Just as a disruption in an electrical circuit can lead to a short circuit or loss of power, dental procedures can similarly impact our overall health through our meridians.
Consider amalgam fillings – they contain mercury, a metal notorious for its toxicity. And then there are root canals, which essentially involve leaving dead tissue in our mouths. It's as if we're practicing taxidermy in our oral cavities. The uniqueness of our mouths demands alternative approaches to health so we don’t disrupt our body’s energy flow with these types of toxic materials.
Over the years, we've witnessed numerous cases where individuals with serious health concerns trace those concerns back to their mouths. In some instances, the mouth emerges as a focal point of concern during thermography reviews. Whether it's temperature anomalies in teeth or certain teeth not behaving as they should, these clues often lead us to uncover issues with corresponding organs.
Seeing the "Signatures" of Health: Thermography's Informative Role
Through thermography, we identify what we call 'signatures' – unique patterns that signal different health issues. Our task as practitioners is to decipher these patterns, connecting the dots to determine the best course of action for each individual.
Clients need to have the proper expectations though. Thermography doesn't provide diagnoses; instead, it arms you with a wealth of information to prevent potential diagnoses down the road. Its power lies in detecting issues at an early stage – much earlier than many other methods. We're talking about proactive well-being, where waiting for a diagnosis becomes a thing of the past.
Elena adds insightfully, "Yet, some individuals do come to us after receiving a diagnosis, unaware of thermography's potential beforehand. In these cases, our focus shifts to understanding how their mouth and body may be intertwined, helping us tailor our approach to health to their unique needs."
Elevating Dental Health's Role: A Shift in Perspective
Reiterating the significance of dental health, our perspective on it has evolved. The connection between oral health and overall wellness is undeniable. As I mentioned earlier, it's not uncommon for individuals leaving our center to receive a recommendation to visit a biological dentist. This recommendation underscores the importance we now place on dental health. In fact, biological dentists assert that a staggering 80% of all diseases originate in the mouth. It's a revelation that has become increasingly clear to us.
A Continuation of Wellness Wisdom
As we conclude this chapter, the connection between our dental health and our bodies remains a powerful theme. Thermography's ability to illuminate this relationship continues to amaze us, offering insights that guide us toward optimal, full-body, well-being.
Be sure to look for our final article, Part 4, in our Empowering Wellness through Thermography series, where Elena and I will explore aspects of thermography with regards to toxins, EMFs and more. We will be uncovering the hidden facets of health that demand our attention and curiosity. Stay well and remember that your health is worth fighting for.
