If you are cutting out wheat flour because of gluten and you still love to bake, don’t be discouraged. There are so many other options for baking and the food tastes wonderful.
The following are substitutions for 1 cup of wheat.
1 cup gluten-free mix
7/8 cup rice flour
5/8 cup potato starch flour
1 cup coconut flour
1 cup millet flour
Almond flour is a great substitution, but can be trickier than cup for cup conversion. The Urban Poser did a wonderful blog post on Almond Flour Basics.
